How to Insert a Shape in Word Document 2013?

Microsoft Word 2013 has many features which makes the document more attractive and easy to understand. For making document effective and interesting we insert some pictures or shapes that describes clearly about
document. By default Word has a large collection of shapes which are ready to put in document. Using Word if we create pamphlets, newsletter or any advertisement then we can easily insert different shapes which enhance the visual interest of document.

We can add many shapes in document including circles, stars, arrows, squares, flow charts and much more. For example we could add a circle around important information in document. Some documents may not need any shape but insertion of shape creates visual appeal and clarity.
For inserting shapes, follow the particular steps

Insert Shape:
Select the Insert tab from ribbon.
Click the Shapes command.
A drop down menu of shapes will appear.
Select the desired shape.

To add shape in document > Click, hold and drag in the desired location.
